The following terms and conditions, together with any documents they expressly incorporate by reference (collectively, “Terms of Use”), govern your access to and use of this website, including any content, functionality and services offered on or through this website (the “Website”).

Indemnification

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

All matters relating to the Website and these Terms of Use, and any dispute or claim arising therefrom or related thereto (in each case, including non-contractual disputes or claims), shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the internal laws of the State of Delaware without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law provision or rule (whether of the State of Delaware or any other jurisdiction).

Arbitration

At Company’s sole discretion, it may require You to submit any disputes arising from these Terms of Use or use of the Website, including disputes arising from or concerning their interpretation, violation, invalidity, non-performance, or termination, to final and binding arbitration under the Rules of Arbitration of the American Arbitration Association applying Delaware law.

Limitation on Time to File Claims

ANY CAUSE OF ACTION OR CLAIM YOU MAY HAVE ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OF USE OR THE WEBSITE MUST BE COMMENCED WITHIN ONE (1) YEAR AFTER THE CAUSE OF ACTION ACCRUES; OTHERWISE, SUCH CAUSE OF ACTION OR CLAIM IS PERMANENTLY BARRED.

Entire Agreement

The Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy constitute the sole and entire agreement between you and Company with respect to the Website and supersede all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations and warranties, both written and oral, with respect to the Website.

Mobile Messaging Terms & Conditions

Program Sponsor: Veterinary Practice Partners, LLC (“VPP”), on behalf of its network of partner veterinary hospitals (each, a “Hospital”).

About Our Mobile Messaging Programs

VPP operates mobile messaging programs on behalf of its partner Hospitals to communicate with pet owners about veterinary care and related services.

Service Communications. We send text messages related to your pet’s veterinary care and your account with your Hospital. These messages are sent by Hospital customer service representatives using VPP’s CSR Workbench platform. Service messages include:

Appointment reminders, including upcoming visits, overdue wellness exams, and vaccination reminders
Follow-up care communications, including post-visit check-ins, medication reminders, and lab result notifications
Account communications, including balance inquiries, payment confirmations, and account updates
Customer service responses, including answers to your questions, callback scheduling, and general clinic information

Promotional Communications. With your separate consent, we may also send text messages about special offers, new services, health and wellness tips, and other promotional content related to veterinary care at your Hospital.

Message Frequency

Service messages: frequency varies based on your pet’s care needs and your interactions with your Hospital, typically 1–10 messages per month.

Promotional messages: frequency varies, typically no more than 5 messages per month.

How You Opt In

Service Communications. You provide consent to receive service-related text messages from your Hospital by one or more of the following methods:

Providing your mobile phone number and indicating your preference to receive text messages on your new client registration form (paper or digital) at your Hospital
Verbally confirming your mobile number and agreeing to receive text messages when speaking with a Hospital representative
Replying START or YES to a message from your Hospital’s phone number

When obtaining your verbal consent, a Hospital representative will read the following disclosure:

“We’d like to send you text messages about [pet name]’s care — things like appointment reminders, follow-up messages, and account updates. These messages are sent through VPP’s messaging platform on behalf of your Hospital. Message and data rates may apply, and you can reply STOP at any time to opt out. Can we send texts to this number?”

Your consent is recorded in our system. A representative will confirm your SMS preference before sending your first message.

Promotional Communications. You provide consent to receive promotional text messages by completing a written or electronic opt-in at your Hospital or through our website. By opting in, you authorize VPP, on behalf of your Hospital, to deliver marketing messages using an automatic telephone dialing system. You understand that your consent is not a condition of purchasing any property, goods, or services from your Hospital or VPP.

How to Opt Out

Reply STOP to any message to immediately unsubscribe from that messaging program. You will receive a single confirmation message and no further texts will be sent from that program. You can re-subscribe at any time by replying START or by contacting your Hospital directly.

Opting out of promotional messages does not opt you out of service messages, and vice versa. To opt out of both, please reply STOP to messages from each program.

Changes to Your Phone Number

If your mobile phone number changes, is reassigned, or is no longer active, you are responsible for notifying your Hospital promptly so that we do not inadvertently send messages to another person. You may update your number by contacting your Hospital directly or informing any Hospital representative during your next visit.

Reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact your Hospital directly. You may also contact VPP at astro@vetpartners.com.

Costs and Carrier Information

Message and data rates may apply. Check with your wireless carrier for details about your text messaging plan.
Neither VPP nor your Hospital charges for SMS messages, but standard carrier rates apply.
Messages are sent from a local phone number associated with your Hospital. Your clinic’s number will be consistent so you can save it as a contact.
SMS messaging is not available on all carriers. Supported carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and most major U.S. carriers.
Neither VPP nor your Hospital is responsible for delayed or undelivered messages due to carrier network issues.

Mobile Messaging Privacy

“Your phone number and message content are transmitted through our secure messaging platform and are never sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes.” Your phone number is used solely for the messaging programs described in this section. Message content may include pet names and appointment details relevant to your veterinary care. All messages are logged securely for quality assurance and compliance purposes.
